Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
This policy explains how FindYourFractional collects, uses and protects personal data, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). FindYourFractional is currently pre-launch: the main things we collect today are waiting-list signups and enquiries.
1. Who we are
FindYourFractional is a Centria group brand, operated by Ambital Ltd ("we", "us"), the data controller for personal data collected through this site.
- Company number: 17319695
- Registered address: The Granary Blakelow Farm, Blakelow Road, Macclesfield, England, SK11 7ED
- ICO registration: ZC213576
- Contact: hello@findyourfractional.co.uk
2. What we collect, and why
Waiting list
When you join the waiting list we collect your name, email address, the kind of fractional you are or are looking for (e.g. Finance, Marketing), whether you are a fractional professional or a business, and where you heard about us. We also record how you arrived at the site (for example a link from LinkedIn or another of our sites, based on the link you clicked or the referring page — or simply "direct"), so we understand which channels people find us through.
We use this to email you about FindYourFractional before and at launch: a welcome email (which may invite you to book an optional call to help shape the platform), occasional pre-launch updates, and the launch announcement. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Legal basis: consent — you actively signed up.
Accounts
If you create an account (for example as an early member), we collect your registration details, the profile information you choose to add, and any content you upload. We use this to provide the platform. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Enquiries
If you email us we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests (answering you).
Technical data
Our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs (IP address, request times) for security and reliability. We also apply rate limiting by IP to protect our forms from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests (keeping the site secure).
3. Where your data goes (processors)
We use a small number of service providers to run the site, under contracts with the appropriate UK GDPR safeguards (the UK International Data Transfer Addendum / EU Standard Contractual Clauses where data leaves the UK/EEA):
- Mailchimp (Intuit, USA) — stores waiting-list contact records, sends our emails, and manages your unsubscribe preferences.
- Supabase — hosts the platform database, authentication and file storage for accounts.
- Vercel (USA) — hosts the website and the API routes that process signups.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing.
4. How long we keep it
- Waiting-list records — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Account data — for as long as your account is active, then deleted on request.
- Enquiries — for as long as needed to resolve them.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (for the waiting list, the unsubscribe link in any email does this instantly). To exercise any right, email hello@findyourfractional.co.uk — we will respond within one month.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies to make the site work — see our Cookie Policy. We also use the browser's sessionStorage to remember how you arrived at the site (e.g. a link from LinkedIn) so we can record it if you join the waiting list; it is deleted when you close the tab and is not used to track you across sites.
7. Children
FindYourFractional is for professionals and businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy — for example when we launch fully. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page or by email.
9. Complaints
If you have a concern, please contact us first at hello@findyourfractional.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
